Schools
Weekday bus services in Fife are often different on Schooldays and School holidays in order to release buses to provide a service for school children.
Timetables on these pages and on Stagecoach timetables show the codes "FiSch" against services which run on Fife Schooldays and "#FiSch" against services which run on Fife School holidays.
Waid Academy have different timetables on Fridays and this means that some buses run differently on Fridays to what they do Monday to Thursday, and the New Madras College have three different school timetables on different days of the week. Extra codes have been produced to show which days buses operate - this is done using the letters MTWHF - with "T" for Tuesday and "H" for Thursday. Where a bus operates on some days during school terms and on different days on school holidays the bus can appear twice (or more) in the timetable - only one of these versions will operate on any given day.
Buses can change route, run earlier or later, miss out sections of route, miss out entire journeys or have additional journeys on Schooldays - so you can tell that it's best to check the timetable if you plan to travel around school start and end times.
