Go-Flexi extended to Levenmouth from Monday 17th August
The Go-Flexi mini-bus service provided by Moffat & Williamson for Fife Council has been extended to cover the area around Levenmouth shown in the map:
As with the other Go-Flexi services in North East and West Fife it can be booked using an App or by telephoning Moffat & Williamson on: 01382 540 624 between 1 hour and 1 week ahead of your journey.
There is a difference in the Levenmouth area in that one end of your journey must be one of an approved list of destinations including: Dentists, Health Centres, Hospitals, Bus or Train stations, or certain shops - check the service details for the full list...

As usual, in preparation for the new school term starting Wednesday 19th August, Stagecoach are making some general changes to their timetables.
Most of the changes are fairly minor, but if you are travelling very early, very late, or around school start and end times it's probably worth checking if the changes affect you:

The East Fife Zone day ticket that we usually recommend is going up from £11.50 to £12.00 as of Monday 15th June 2026.

One-Ticket is a multi-operator bus and train ticketing system based in Edinburgh.
It can be a useful ticket to buy if you are travelling around between Fife and Edinburgh and don't have a bus pass and want something simple that allows you to change buses whenever you want and use whatever operators' buses are suitable.

Stagecoach have made some extensive timetable changes starting Monday 24th November 2025.
This involves some major changes to the Edinburgh Express services with the X60 being replaced by an X61 which runs: St Andrews - Anstruther - Leven - Kirkcaldy - Halbeath Park & Ride - Ferrytoll - Edinburgh.
All Edinburgh services have timetable changes to try to create a regular service between Halbeath & Edinburgh, for example.
Services to Newburgh and Tayport from St Andrews are being withdrawn and passengers are being encouraged to use Moffat & Williamson services instead!

One useful change is that from 27th April you can buy Flexi-5 and Flexi-10 versions of Dayrider tickets - the latter gets you 10 tickets for the price of 7.

Anyone aged 5 to 21 in Scotland can get a free bus pass. If you already have a "Young Scot" card the bus pass is NOT automatically added to your card, you have to apply separately.
