One Ticket price rise from Sunday 23rd June 2024
One Ticket have announced new prices for their multi-operator tickets: https://www.one-ticket.co.uk/learn-more/prices
The Fife area day bus ticket goes up from £11.60 to £12. Travel Zone 4 (Fife+Edinburgh) rises from £14.40 to £15. And Travel Zone 5 (the whole of the One-Ticket map) from £18.30 to £19.

ABC Bus Ticket price rise from Monday 10th June 2024
Stagecoach have announced that ABC Bus Tickets are going up in price from Monday 10th June: https://www.stagecoachbus.com/service-updates/serviceupdatesarticle?SituationId=ID-07/06/2024-15:20:29:213
This is confirmed on the ABC Website: https://www.abcbustickets.com/prices
But Moffat & Williamson's website still has the 2019 prices: https://moffat-williamson.co.uk/abc-travel
It's probably safe to assume that prices are actually going up!
The change means that the "East Fife Zone" Day ticket that we usually recommend if you are wanting to mix Stagecoach and Moffat & Williamson buses goes up from £10.70 to £11.20.
That Makes the Stagecoach only "North East Fife Dayrider" at £8.50 even more attractive.
If you can work out a route that only uses Moffat & Williamson buses that would be even cheaper with their Fife, Dundee & Angus Daily ticket at £6.40: https://moffat-williamson.co.uk/moffat-and-williamson-timetables
For more details see our Tickets page.
Stagecoach ticket Zones get bigger from 2nd June 2024
To coincide with the return of trains to Leven, Stagecoach are making some changes to their ticket zones.
Perhaps the main one of interest in Leven is that the North East Fife Zone is expanding to include Leven and Glenrothes.
This means that you can get all the way to Dundee and its environs on an Adult Dayrider costing just £8.50 - rather than needing to buy an East Scotland Dayrider at £11.50.
There's also a new Leven to Kirkcaldy day return ticket for £4.70.
More details of all the Zone changes are at: https://www.stagecoachbus.com/service-updates/serviceupdatesarticle?SituationId=ID-27/05/2024-15:16:21:201
Timetable changes for June 2024

For working out train/bus connections we recommend the Traveline Scotland Journey Planner: https://www.travelinescotland.com/journey-planner
We expect there to be more timetable changes to help with train connections at the usual annual timetable review during the summer school holidays.
There are also changes to Moffat & Williamson timetables, and there are more details on the Fife Council website at: https://www.travelfife.com/travel-fife/news/articles/bus-service-changes-monday-3rd-june
And there are changes to Stance allocations at Leven Bus Station.

The Dayrider tickets that we recommend are going up in price as follows:
The Leven Zone Dayrider Adult ticket goes up from £4 to £4.20 - the Group ticket (for up to 5 adults) rises from £10 to £10.50.
The North East Fife Dayrider Adult ticket goes up from £8 to £8.50 - the Group ticket (for up to 5 adults) rises from £20 to £21.30.
The East Scotland Dayrider Adult ticket goes up from £11 to £11.50 - the Group version rises from £27.50 to £29.30.
But not going up! - The Nightrider ticket for travel on Stagecoach buses in Fife and Tayside stays at £3.50 - and extends its hours to run from 6pm rather than 7pm!
